Welcome to MeVirtuoso. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the MeVirtuoso website and the purchase of any products—physical or digital—offered through it. By accessing this website and purchasing our products, you accept these terms and conditions in full.

1. General Product Disclaimer and Assumption of Risk

All physical products, components, mechanisms, and kits sold by MeVirtuoso are designed and intended strictly for experimental, hobbyist, educational, and prototyping purposes.

  • Not for Critical Systems: No product sold by MeVirtuoso is rated, certified, or intended for use in life-safety systems, medical equipment, load-bearing applications, aerospace, automotive, human transportation (such as skateboards or scooters), or any industrial application where failure could result in personal injury, death, or severe property damage.
  • User Responsibility: By purchasing physical parts (including 3D-printed and CNC-machined components), the buyer assumes all risks associated with their integration, assembly, and use. The buyer is solely responsible for testing and validating any mechanism within their own specific use-case and environment.

2. Digital Products, Software, and Intellectual Property

MeVirtuoso may offer digital downloads, CAD files, software add-ins, or code.

  • License, Not a Sale: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, purchasing a digital product grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files or software.
  • Restrictions: You may not redistribute, resell, sub-license, or claim ownership of any digital files, source code, or software sold by MeVirtuoso.
  • No Technical Support Guarantee: Software and digital tools are provided as-is. While we strive to provide functional tools, we do not guarantee compatibility with future updates of third-party software (e.g., CAD platforms) or operating systems.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

All products and services delivered by MeVirtuoso are provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis. MeVirtuoso explicitly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that our physical or digital products will meet your specific requirements or operate uninterrupted and error-free.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall MeVirtuoso (or its founder, operators, or affiliates) be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, the use, misuse, or inability to use our products or website. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, property damage, or personal injury.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MeVirtuoso and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms and Conditions or your use/misuse of any product purchased from this site.

6. Pricing, Payments, and Refusals

  • All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your raw credit card information.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or shipping limitations.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, and any separate agreements whereby we provide you products or services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Oregon.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
